What KIND of proxy you are using and what kind of
authentication method does it support (there are lots of them)?

Hi,
I try to set up Amiquote proxy settings to go
through of our
ProxyFirewall.
Settings:
Use Proxy :
YES
Server:Port :
myProxyFirewallName:myProxyPort
User
: myUserName
Password : myPassword
(Of course Port is
integer)
And I filled these settings, BUT IT DOESN'T WORKS.
With
these Settings I'm sure than I'm able to go thorugh Proxy. I'm a
software-ingeniour. And i have another Applications, which are used
also these Proxysettings.
So I believe my settings are good and I don't
had any mistake during
filling these fields.
(
In my judgement,
the Problem perhaps can be the long of text fields.
myProxyFirewallname has
28 characters and
plus myPort has 4 caharacters are together 28+1+4=33!!!
(Perhaps the
maximum length is 32?
and myUserName has 6, and
myPassword has 13 characters.
)
The request goes to myProxy and
myProxy doesn't allow through this
request cause "I'm not login." So I
believe myProxy doesn't get
correctly myUserName and myPassword.
Is
there anybody AmiQuote users who is able to go through on an
Authenticated
ProxyFirewall? (I think yes.)
Or has anybody any other Idea?
