Even for programmers I think its tricky...I found a lot of the syntax of the
various methods/functions very hard to learn and remember. I used it for a
while I guess about 5 years ago and at that time I experienced data
corruption/loss in my local tick cache/database. In the end that was what
caused me to abandon it, a shame as I invested a lot of time on it. I'm sure
that this must be fixed now though.

 I used NeotickerEOD and you had better know your way around a computer.  I
found it difficult to use as I'm not very computer literate. AB is far
easier to use and this forum plus the library is extremely helpful. For
those that are programmers Neoticker is a good program, for those that
aren't good luck.
