Hi Terry,
 
I use ticks dashes dots and other hieroglyphics to plot support and resistance levels for the upcoming bar. So yes you are correct I would like to plot past the current real time  bar to see where S/R is setting up for the next bar. I'll submit it as a suggestion as Wavemechanic advises.

I assume you are plotting on some condition such as Plot(IIf(Buy,ShapeUpArrow…) so you can use Ref(Buy,-X) to plot this shape X bars in the future. However, this would not let you plot past the realtime current bar.

Looking at the online help there does not  appear to be an Xshift parameter as there is with the plot function. Can shapes still be shifted to the right a bar?

 

Good idea.  Why not submit it as a suggestion.
