Geez Michael--sorry i totally missed the word "Options".  I don't trade options, so i have no experience. 

I think the format would be the same as ym, but while i was trying to type it in the window, i ran out of space on the line.  so my guess is---you can't get it with the current IB plugin.  I tried using the example TJ provided for the DAX, but i am in the US and do not have access to that data on IB, so MAYBE that is the reason i get an error.

Something is wrong with entry of options in AB.  no doubt we are doing something wrong.  TJ mentions " (exceeding 26 characters allowed by AB)." so i don' know why i ran out of space. 

I think the format would have to be the same as the YM, since the options are traded on ECBOT also.   But the way IB has different formats for different exchanges-- who knows.
 
I tried  C OYM   JUN 06-ecbot-fut 11500  (which is the same as ym   jun 06-ecbot-fut with the extra option info)  but i ran out of space as mentioned so i stopped.

I can get the futures but need the Options. I read the exchange requirements an have mastered any symbol I have needed up until I tried these dow emini futures options.
 
If you have handle on these options symbols please let me know.

description of the different exchanges requirements, which is associated
