just select the number of days to backfill and then backfill the current
symbol to replace the data. Of course if the whole is further back than 30
days, I'm screwed. I have not been able to find what sequence of events
causes this to happen. But an entire day is always dropped. It seems that
when I defrag my hard disk, the likely hood of dropped days does increase
but it is not every time.

Subject: [amibroker] IB backfill also delete some past data?
Every time I update historical data (1 minute) using IB backfill there
will be new bar in my chart (which it should be), but unexpectedly it
will also get rid of some of the oldest bars.
I expect IB backfill will add new bars without deleting any previous
historical data.I don't know whether it is because of my setting or it
is how AB works.
Any explanation on this will be appreciated, thanks.
