Thank you Patrick,

But I must say that I always had difficulty to understand this EXREM function…..

Will it tell me if I have an open position or not ?

Regards,

Al,

Hi Al,

Have you used the EXREM() function in your code?

Subject: [amibroker] POSITION CLOSED

Hello,

I wrote an AFL formula that I run as  Backtest or Exploration.

So I take long or short positions according to my trading rules.

But it happens that after a position is closed, if criteria for the close are met some time later (in an Intraday trade), I will alert one more time to close a position

that is already closed.

Is there a way in AFL to know if a position is still open or already closed ?

thanks for your help,

Regards,

AL,
