Hello, Look at the numeric values. shapePositionAbove equals 1 so it just selects next shape. Only shape constants starting from shapeSmallSquare are all even numbers, that's why you can add one to get "above" This does not apply to all preceding shape constants, so ShapePositionAbove must NOT be used together with shapes that have positions already included (all those which have "Down" or "Up" in the name). All "Down" shapes are positioned ABOVE already and "Up" shapes are positioned BELOW already, so it makes no sense to add those two.
