Save yourself a lot of time. If you want to explore moving average systems, then don't rely on crossovers for triggers. Instead, look at price relative to the moving averages you're interested in.
Concentrate on price action and market internals. That, combined with good money and risk management are what make superior systems. I trade the ER2 (Russell 2K e-mini futures) in real-time and rely heavily on moving averages. But it's never the crossing of any of them that triggers a trade. [I don't kow why every newbie trader looks at crossovers of lagging indicators for trade entries, but they do...and I've never heard of one making a successful living or highly profitable side-paycheck doing it] ------------------------ Yahoo!
