For me all I have to do is to collapse the folder  (hit the + sign) and then reopen it (hit the + sign) again.

I just now created a new custom indicator, and saved it as TENg_STK_RSI.   I then looked for it in the chart tree, and it  was not there. 
 
 It did show up in the chart tree after I closed Amibroker, and restarted it.   This is the same way it works when I add additional chart sheets in preferences. 
 
Can others confirm that this is just normal behavior of Amibroker?
