Yea i know--another IB problem. I have had QM in my Symbol list and RTQ for a long time, but when the Aug contract expired and went to Sep i can no longer get a symbol to work.
Aug was QMQ06-nymex-fut, and Sep should be QMU06-nymex-fut, assuming IB did not change anything. There is mention on IB about them "adding" nymex futures to globex. i tried globex vice nymex and that doesn't work either. thanks for any help, ron below is the email from IB CS, as usual---a great help: Dear Trader, Our symbol for the crude oil futures contract is QM.
