Hello,

What AB Version are you using? I suspect that it is some ancient one.

In 4.80 "Parameters" is never grayed out even if there are NO parameters
because this is also entry point for Axis&Grid properties that are always 
available.
Even on completely empty formula "Paramters" is available.
