Don,
I asked a similar question on 7/31/06 (http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/amibroker/message/99619)
and later got a quick answer from support at amibroker.
Basically I was told to copy broker.workspace (and
back it up first; its located in c:\program files\amibroker\MyNewData ) to each
of the other database directories (c:\program files\amibroker\MyNewData2).
Then depending on what kind of quote update system you have (amiquote, etc.),
you may have to update the Database Settings (alt, f, then Database Settings) to
match the original settings. In practice, i found its necessary to also
copy over broker.master, broker.watch as well.
This is not an automated process, but it
works. The problem is if you make changes to a secondary database sector
settings and then copy the primary database settings then you lose the
settings.
Chris
