Works for me. You filled out both sender and recipient I presume? Your SMTP address is the same as you use in Outlook (no email client required, but the SMTP must be correct).
Some ISPs require authentication. Try the dropdown box for this purpose (upper right area of prefs->alerts). I would start with pop3 before smtp. -- Terry -----Original Message-----
