NO, it is not correct!
You are able to import your text data with
$FORMAT Ticker, Skip, Date_YMD, Time, Close, Volume
you simple forget to include Time column.
Important to use: $TICKMODE 1
I had few databases with tick data 3-400k record with each symbol.
There is no problem with speed anyway$
