Hi Karthik Thanks a lot for introducing me to this forum. I was already a member of Amibroker-ts group, was not aware of this group. Sorry for giving you the wrong information. I would also like to thank the Amibroker Team for this great software. It has helped me a lot.
Please see, the link Karthik has provided has 3 files, I am talking about CoolRC here. Brian, for your queries: The point is how much delay in getting quotes can be considered "Real Time". Some user have reported to use this as aggresivly as 3 secs and they were able to get the tick data into Amibroker (AB). For me a one minute delayed data is good enough. NSE data is almost real time, at least compared to what I see through my broker's trading terminal. For BSE the data is very delayed for it to be useful for any real intraday trades. How the sheet is working? 1. Get data from yahoo quotes. 2. Write the data to a normal text file 3. Update AB using that text file by the help of automation provided by AB and refresh charts. 4. Repeat from point 1. The sheet should work for any market for which yahoo gives data. The only need will be to change the symbols as per the market. There is a lot that can be improved over there. I request you to give it a try. Please let me know in case you need more clarification on any of the point. Best Regards Coool. PS: I am not sure if this is going to be a repeat post.I have posted earlier but could not find my reply. So replying again. --- In [email protected], "karthikmarar" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > dear Brian > > Yea it is great site for Indian Traders. lot of knowledge is shared > and tip mongers and givers are discouraged. > > I have requested the Developer of the software himself to reply ro > your queiries.
