Hello,

I was just trying Scanning in Automatic Analysis, over 100 symbols
(Nasdaq 100).
I have two database RT - IB plugins, 1 min, 20000 bars :
- one is backilled to 30 days
- one is backfilled just one day

If i make scan (1 min intervalle) just the last 10 quotations with
the exactly same .afl formulas for the two and exactly same AA
settings, i don't have the same time of execution of the scan.
For the database backfilled one day, it take around 0.3 sec maybe.
For the database backfilled 30 days, it takes around 3 sec !!

Why there is such a difference ? It should be the same time as the
range is the 10 last quotations for the two database.
Is it because to find the 10 last quotations AA has to go through
the 30 days quotations ? (it will be silly to act like this).
So I don't anderstand, and it is really a problem for realtime
trading where scan should be has fast as possible on the last
quotations to find the buy/sell signal.

i.e: my afl for this test need only one past quotation to make all
calculation for buy/sell signals. so scan need truly only 10
quotations no more, like i ask him in the range option.

Thanks for your help,
Mich.
