From all the input it appears that this is he procedure I should follow..
 
Run data Purify to see how many holes I have in the database.
 
As I am using QP3,I can not use quote editor and should notify QP3 of "bad" data.Which there seems to be a fair  share of.
 
Assuming I am not missing large chunks of data,I should pad and align when running the scan or explore.Does pad and align work with explore and/or scan?And most important,I assum pad and align will work with QP data..
