Rakesh,   The afl code may require a lot of time to process. Programs such as finding domonant cycle for example are very CPU intensive and may take inordinate amount of time.   Assuming this is the case, you can do a few things.  - Make sure you run the code less frequently if it's realistic (if you are running in real time), such as at every new bar.  - Make sure your data length is not longer than necessary.   Ara ----- Original Message ----- From: Rakesh Sahgal To: amibroker@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wednesday, October 25, 2006 8:15 AM Subject: Re: [amibroker] PC Utilities.-Slight(?) Whatever I did in AB was a breeze.Of late however I have been witnessing marked degradation in the performance of the box. This happened after I started using an afl that was posted in the library. The screen takes forever to refresh when I change the scrip whose chart I am looking at and  mouse clicks a smilar amount of time to take effect when I am viewing the  sheet which has the afl in question.  Now my spoecific questions -  How do I determine in which area exactly is the hardware lacking i.e. additional ram required or video capability needs enhancement or will tinkering with page file suffice(presently at 300 mb approx). Any clues/pointers will be highly appreciated.
