Greetings
After testing TN and Esignal I've come up with a list of things I'd
like to be able to do in a trading platform.
Primarily I'm interested in
*strong tick replay tools
*statistics gathering tool while using sim and tick replay
I understand that there is also pattern recognition for Woodie's CCI
patterns. Can someone elaborate on them?
Could you respond as to whether the registered version of Amibroker
addresses the following:
Trade journal
*put journal comments on trade afterwards
Woodies CCI
*easily load updated Woodies CCI
Exporting PNG
* PNG Images exported from TN have something that prevents Picasa from
viewing them... save as jpeg
requests
* better instant replay interface
o allow user to tag trades so that they can be grouped and
then reviewed for evaluation of strategies
o remember last replay settings
o save and continue where last paused: very very nice to have
o better note access for replay (it's a training
environment... make it easy for people to record learning)
+ see journal/history below
o more control over timer... show seconds to bar print
o keyboard arrow control
o go back bars/ minutes w/out having to
start over a day= code rewind for X minutes or bars
o better interface for indicating what data is already
available for replay
o game results save should default to symbol being played
+ game results doesn't seem to show the symbol at
all... must resolve
* Replay analysis
o on double click of trade go to trade in charts
o right click to add notes on trade
o right click on trade to enter user created field data
+ strategy used
+ indicators referenced
+ notes
+ etc
* pages
o The Pages selection is ONLY available within the Gold or
Platinum versions of the application.-Richard
* dynamic help pages (wiki)
* downloadable training videos
o other platforms provide more training on maximizing
effective/ efficiency use of platform
o where are offline downloadable videos? Very few... to none?
* better control over journals/ history information
o Customize toolbars doesn't have an icon for trade journal=

o difference between trading notes and trading journal?
o better statistics gathering tool
+ give user interface for tracking strategy used
+ allow customizable field creation for better stat
creation
* auto save annotated replay charts to jpeg
o prompt user for screen grab after entry and exit
o auto name image with trade information
