Hello Steve,

For the most part the forum is very well behaved.
It is a very mature group; at a cultural and trading level.
I don't think newcomers appreciate the extent of that or use it to
the maximum advantage but that is their loss.

The pace is fast and Tomasz does a superhuman job.
He is one of the most competent persons I have meet in approx 40
adult years.
He is not showing any signs of wear and tear so we don't need to be
concerned on his behalf or fight his battles for him.
He does a very good job of that all by himself.

Occasionally people in the forum do offend my sensibilities and that
is when I step in on my own behalf.
I try to guide them in a constructive way that respects my values
while also respecting them.
It is a never ending task; like turning back the tides.
I doubt if I will be able to sustain the effort.
It is natural that most people who have been in the forum any length
of time don't have the energy for it and pick and choose their
topics carefully.
Those people who post regularly obviously have the heart for it so
it is *right for them*.

On that basis I didn't mind your post as it was an *affair of the
heart*.
If anything I would say you could have done a better job of it.

I just took Dennis's post as enthusiastic but misdirected, but
anyone who was offended could have directed him to the feedback
centre with his suggestions.
They could have also pointed out that his post was too long and
repetitive and didn't clearly explain his needs to the forum so that
he was making it difficult for us to help him.

I hope Dennis won't be offended, as a keen student is usually a good
student, and I hope he hangs around to show us what he's got.

BrianB2.
