Hello, This is scaling in/out which is already natively supported http://www.amibroker.com/guide/h_pyramid.html
Reporting them as "separate" positions is simply wrong approach because it does not allow flexibility to scale OUT in different order/size than scaling in. But if you, for some weird reason, want to take this wrong approach you can do this already, and it was shown here: http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/amibroker/message/80939 Best regards, Tomasz Janeczko amibroker.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "jlami11" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, October 29, 2006 4:48 AM Subject: [amibroker] Backtesting capabilities > Hello, > > I was wondering if there is anyway for the backtester to count ALL > entry signals generated especially on existing open positions, as > separate trades, along with their different exits. > > If there is a way some guidance on how to do this would really be > appreciated. > > Thanks in advance. > > > > > Please note that this group is for discussion between users only. > > To get support from AmiBroker please send an e-mail directly to > SUPPORT {at} amibroker.com > > For NEW RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENTS and other news always check DEVLOG: > http://www.amibroker.com/devlog/ > > For other support material please check also: > http://www.amibroker.com/support.html > > Yahoo!
