Is it supposed to close? My AA window stays open. I don't believe that's a problem.   By the way, bat file is from the old DOS era. There are better batch/automation tools. One of them is AutoIT3, a VB like scripting tool. You can automate virtually anything using it. By combining Windows Task Scheculer + AutoIT3 + JScript + AFL, I am able to automate 100% of my EOD system: download QP3 data, explore, log on IB, submit orders for next day open.
