My own naive understanding of it is that the large players move in 
and out of positions without moving price to their disadvantage. So 
you will see big volume without big price changes. Sort of like an 
elephant entering or exiting a swimming pool without creating big 
waves.

If you trust that they know better, you may want to follow them in 
or out.
