Mr. Houston, What you have there is an "EquiVolume" chart. This was developed by Richard Arms and at one time was quite popular. He has a book on the subject. Basically the width of the chart repesents volume while heighth is price. In otherwords it is showing you the relative relationship of price and volume. Price charts are one dimentional. Most software packages have it as one of their built in charts ... I know MetaStrock does. I'm sure it could be programed in AmiBroker (and possibly has been) so the challenge is out there if anone wants to try.
