I also don't think its a date issue, Mark, although I am also having trouble with yahoo data lately. Yesterday while trying to download using Amiquote from Yahoo, I got "Failed" for many symbols in my 3000 stock database. It was around 4am so maybe there was some kind of maintenance downtime going on..In addition to that and for several weeks, i have noticed that some symbols which used to have historical data available for them have no data available for them or their data disappears and reappears briefly then disappears. Examples:
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp? a=00&b=1&c=2006&d=00&e=19&f=2007&g=d&s=vsth http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp? a=00&b=1&c=2006&d=00&e=19&f=2007&g=d&s=whit http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp? a=00&b=1&c=2006&d=00&e=19&f=2007&g=d&s=qcom VSTH and WHIT do not work for me, i get the following message: "Historical quote data is unavailable for the specified date range." but QCOM works, and its the exact same link. VSTH and WHIT are valid US stocks and there are others but i am giving a couple of examples only. I contacted Yahoo about this problem but they referred me to CSI data and did not indicate they would be addressing the problem. I contacted CSI data but got no response from them.
