What do you mean by "per excecution"?  I closed AB and opened (excecuted)  it 
again, but the getperformancecounter() is not reset in the above-mentioned 
codes

  Reset works per-execution (it is not global), so it will work in that 
execution when you actuall call
  GetPerformanceCounter(TRUE). During subsequent executions you will get
  time from boot.
