Thanks Paul,

I very much appreciate your help.

I did a scan with the code that you provided (thankyou) and all my
ASX 300 symbols showed up, so I assume that means that none were
backfilled, I checked a couple of charts. They are again only
showing 3 or 4 bars.

I save my database regularly, so I am not sure why at least my
previously backfilled data is not there. As I understood it, "wait
for backfill" added new data, but didn't necessarily start again (I
thought it was saved in the local database and only new bars were
added).

I am stumped by this and would love to find a resolution - using
the "force backfill" for all my charts just isn't practical, so I had
hoped that there might be a way to effectively force backfill on all
symbols, or at least a few at a time.

Maybe there is a way to change the time out setting within amibroker
and/or the plugin (I use esignal RT). Any info would be appreciated
as i have done a search on this group as well as other internet
sources and have not had any luck.

thanks
Sam
