Click on HELP on the toolbar and then do a search for "parameter." Among the
items that are found is "Parameter Window." Look at the Axis and Grid section.
There you will see instructions for turning on axis and grid. If you have
vertical lines chosen under preference|charting, show date axis will turn on
the lines for dates as you want. The grid section of the dialog box allows you
to turn on horizontal grid lines with various values. Alternatively, you can
use the AFL functions plotgrid() and setchartoptions() which are described in
HELP and provide additional flexibility.
