Add my vote for ICB support. Indexed/keyed access to industries, sectors ... etc. would also be a lot better than the current relative record number system.

Don't forget about the other major classification standard too - Industry Classification Benchmark from Dow Jones/FTSE - quite similar to that of GICS in terms of it being 4 levels and also numerical like GICS (although it's a 4 digit identifier - note that some start with zero so it's not really an integer but could be displayed as a zero padded int). Also, Yahoo seems to use their own classifications which I think is based upon Hemscott - but there never seems to be any recognised indexes based upon the Hemscott/Yahoo classifications.
