The overall indexing of material that has been accrued over the years, as Ami has evolved, is on the harder side of the equation. The function of the UserKnowledgeBase is to put all of our (the users) Ami experience in one place. I expect it will outgrow its competitors over time and as it is searchable and indexable it will eventually take care of the type of issues you have raised. Personally I am not a big fan of indexing a site like that because of the ongoing maintenance issues but Herman is a champion for that cause. I followed up by doing some thinking about Ami's search capabilities and I submitted a suggestion to Tomasz aimed at making some improvements in that area. It is in his capable hands now. My suggestion is quite simple but I have found in the past that if Tomasz likes an idea he will work it over, improve on it and add his own flavour. Of course, you have to allow time for the ingredients to ferment, mature and bake etc. My experience of working with Tomasz is that if a suggestion is for the greater good of Ami, it will benefit a reasonably large group of users, it is do-able and it is *professionally* presented with supporting docs it has a good chance of getting up. Thanks once again for your constructive contributions in this area. The UKB won't be perfect but it will be a big step in the right direction. Brian.
