Fred,
Thank you for the link. I am finding more information now that I have learned
some ways to search for answers. I will try this software.

  Thanks again,
  Tom

  Dear Tom,

I can only say what seems to work for me. I took the advice of others on
this forum and looked at PGOffline (www.pgoffline.com/index.htm) software to
help me find items of interest in the Ami Forum. There is a free trial so it
doesn't cost anything to see whether or not it will be helpful to you, and the
final cost upon purchase is only $20. The software downloads the 100,000+ Ami
Forum messages and allows you to rapidly search for anything you desire in a
user friendly format. You might wish to join all the Ami Forums and download
their content as well. It's been really helpful for me and I'm still very much
in the "learning phase".

  Regards,

  Fred

  Subject: [amibroker] Help files

I have a very difficult time finding instuctions for various problems.
This forum is very helpful, but sometimes the problem could be solved
easily if I could find the proper help area.

It may be because I am so inexperienced in using AmiBroker and don't
understand how to search for the help. However, when I use the search
to find a problem, I usually don't find any results. For instance, I
searched for autotrading and found nothing. When I had a problem which
my backtesting RT charts, I could not find any help although I know
  that the instuctions were available.

Can someone explain how to use the information available on the
Amibroker site so that I can find the help when I need it.

  Thanks,
  Tom
