Hello, There are 3 parts of the puzzle: 1. the IQFeed server software 2. the IQFeed client software (the one announced here) 3. Amibroker's PLUGIN for IQFeed.
To support tick data all THREE must be updated. The announcement was about (2) - the IQFeed client software. The update is required to support future changes to IQFeed SERVER software (1). When both (1) and (2) updates are operating - then IQFeed starts sending seconds in their feed. This does not mean that you will get tick data resolution immediatelly because for that also part (3) needs to be written. Developing and testing tick support in part (3) requires having part (1) and (2) fully operational, so obviously you need to wait for tick support in the plugin.
