Thanks Michael,

The link to your page on the AB did the trick. I'd missed it before. 
Earlier I did a search of the AB website for 'Linux' and did not get
any hits.

Anyway, I went thru each step for a Crossover install somewhat
backwards, saving the installation of IE 6 for last.  I was hoping
that IE wasn't needed, but it was.
