In our original interface (old style), the data was returned 
ascending.  However, the newer interfaces, which Amibroker now uses 
(as far as I know), return the data descending, and returns the data 
10 ticks/bars at a time to the client.  Thus, you no longer have to 
wait until you receive all of the data in order to start seeing it 
appear on charts.  I know Tomasz did a lot of work in the past few 
months on the IQFeed interface, and it is my understanding that it is 
much better than a year+ ago.  Hopefully with the release of our new 
servers, things will be even better.
