It depends where you get your data. IF you use AmiQuote to get EOD data 
from Yahoo just download the historical quotes again. If you want to 
back your data up find the database on your hard drive and just copy 
the database into a backup folder. If you are talking about intraday 
data that can't be retrieved again then back it up as defined above. 
And do it within the period that you can get the data. In other words 
if your supplier has a month of back fill then back your data up 
monthly.

Don't just delete your database and start over. If you do that you will 
lose all your layouts and it is a real pain in the butt to recreate 
them. If you want to delete your database save your layout files first.
