I had QT running on one system and I am trying to move it to another. When I do I get an Err message on the plug-in status field. I downloaded the latest version of the QT plugging and the QT program from MetVed. I set it up exactly as I did on the old system. When I try to retrieve the symbols from QT I only get one symbol and it is null. The name it puts in the database is (). I am running AB 4.90, QT plugging 1.3.6 and QT 3.8.5a. It is a registered copy.
What could cause AB not to think QT is running? QT is running and when I look at the QT window and it is attached to Scottrade and the data is updating. But AB cannot attach to it for some reason or another. I went through the setup instructions again and checked the settings on QT again and they are identical. I tried to find setup problems on the forum and it seems to be set up correctly. As far as I can tell it and QT are set up the same. Any ideas? Thanks, Barry
