That is rather impossible as the database shipped with 5.00 is updated upto 
August 31.

Full (not upgrade) version installs the demo end-of-day DJIA database into 
"Data" folder.
If your default database was in that folder it will only overwrite those 30 
stocks from DJIA
and nothing else and it will be updated upto August 31.

If your database is in different folder - you can simply open it using
File->Open Database
