You *CAN* save (i.e. export to) AFL with trial version.

What you can not do is to save "project" for later editing. Project is an xml 
file readable by AFL Wizard that holds more information than AFL.

  2. As of now a lot of rules can be automatically defined using the pre-sets. 
Since this is a Ongoing project, I believe it will get enhanced in future.
