It is formatting the code so it looks nicely.
For example converting from:
function myfunc(x) { for(i=0;i<BarCount;i++) {result[i]=2*x[i]};return result;}
to:
function myfunc( x )
{
for( i = 0; i < BarCount; i++ )
{
result[ i ] = 2 * x[ i ];
}
return result;
}
