[amibroker] metastock data issue

Hi,
   
  I currently use the metastock plug in to read metastock files i have on my 
local drive.
  When the data on my local drive gets changed (i.e a new symbols is added), AB 
does not automatically recognise the symbol.  I have to select "database 
settings/configure/retrieve symbols".  Once i have doen this the new symbol is 
shown in teh database tree.  Is there a way of AB automaticallly reading 
changes to the source file and including the new symbol?
