I can confirm that amiquote 1.94 is not receiving "Current" quotes for >90% of the tickers for US exchanges. AAPL, RIMM are working, for instance. PEP and MOS (among many many others) are not, for instance. I have tried this while logged into yahoo.com and while not logged on. I have tried this while using real time quote (java based) system running and while not running. Historical quote retrieval today seems to work.
