Additional information:  it appears the error occurs during the stats 
generation post-processing after the backtest is run.  I can now make 
the error occur on a single backtest.  When the error occurs, each 
trade is reported correctly (report mode set to "detailed trades"), 
but the one-line summary in the lower gray bar (that normally shows # 
rows, profit, CAR, etc) does not get posted.
