This is just an INFORMATIONAL Post regarding Hewlett Packard, Vista and
downgrading to XP. Any comments you make will be helpful to me and
others.
The first link below is to the H Packard page that discusses the problems of
downgrading to from Vista to XP, and the loss of HP support that I would
experience.
This second link is about the Vista Service Pack 1, and the feature which
allows you to downgrade to XP.
The third link is from a satisfied Vista user who is of the opinion that most
Vista problems occur because of poor PC management skills.
I received my new HP laptop, and even though I have poor PC management skills,
I have decided to use the installed Vista Home premium and hopefully, things
will be OK. Ron D.

SICK OF STUPIDITY>>in my opinion, most of the people who complain about crashes
and whatever problems they see in Vista have no experience with PC management
(hardware and software)
ive got vista instaled since october..not even 1major problem detected, of
course some minor issues here and there, but even without sp1 i have to say its
a damngood os and stable alsoi keep hearing dumb ppl saying "oh noes vista eats
all my ram vista sucks" FFS google about ram management in vista and stop
spreading this crapsp1 adds useful things such as 4gb recognition, faster copy
time and many other.
