Hello Jerry, I give up with a great pleasure the champion title... I am a poor competitor.
My computer is stable for many months from now. No additionnal free softwares, no automatic anti spy. Considering your comments, the weak point is that I use a free anti virus called AntiVir. But sometimes a commercial product can cause severe trouble too. AntiVir does the job rather deeply with a daily update. I will keep an eye on it. My AB install worked like a swiss clock for a month and I did not install any soft after. The fatal day, I did test the morning and I ran a VBS script that open TWS send login and password, open AB, put it full screen and move it to monitor2. It was not perfect, so I put it aside. Now I leave it for a while until I become confident in my PC. I keep in mind that a dual sceen computer could create trouble as a an extra program UltraMon is running in background. The afternoon, I was running AB and IB on the same screen at the very instant of crash. I would say that AB deal the thing rather well but not always. AB on monitor2, you open Formula Editor on monitor 2, you send it to monitor 1 and the children windows are openned in monitor 1 and sometimes in monitor 2. But I am unable to put the fault to AB. The probability is very high that UltraMon is faulty. I shutted down the TWSIB windows with the red cross and the nightmare began. I was confused by a screen capture in IrfanView and I closed the wrong app. I will keep a trembling hand for a while every time I'll close a windows...
