Thanks TJ - I did run full setup of 5.0 and then copied over all files/directories. But the look is different, i.e. toolbars etc. Over the years I have made many changes to customize the UI, which I would like to duplicate on the 2nd computer. Since copying all files did not "fix" it I thought maybe this info is stored in the registry - is that correct?

Only then you can copy files. Otherwise it may not work properly because of missing OLE server reg. Nothing important is really saved in the registry (only some run time info such as on/off state of crosshair and most recently used formula), therefore it is advised not to play with registry if you are not Windows poweruser. Anyway before playing with registry, it is best to use disk image program such as trueimage to perform full backup of windows. Other than that importing/exporting registry entries is valid procedure *IF* performed correctly. Haven't changed anything yet but what if I did this?.... On source computer, export entire TJP section of both keys and copy the 2 files over to the destination computer. A while ago I tried to restore one of those keys into a newly installed computer, and ended up with mislabeled left hand side tabs in AB. Since I did not perform step one, I could not revert to the original. Surprisingly, this could not be fixed even not with uninstall and reinstall of AB!! It stayed like this until I rebuilt windows from scratch next time. I believe TJ has said in the past that this can be corrected by copying over these registry keys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\TJP\Broker and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TJP\Broker My question is, what is the best way to copy these sections of the registry from one computer to another?
