Please correct me if I am wrong. I RECENTLY UNINSTALLED AMIBROKER, INCLUDING ALL OF THE FOLDERS before downloading a FIRSTTIME user version of AB version 5.
I NEXT installed the old US STOCKS ["TEMPLATE"] THAT I HAD STORED IN MY DOWNLOAD FOLDER. I then used the SWINDLE site to install the current updated symbols into this TEMPLATE., and everything worked OK. Was it "NOT" necessary to first install the US STOCKS TEMPLATE?
