Are you running Professional registered version (can't find you in the 
database) ?

It is not clear how do you "export" closing prices (using exploration, or ?) 
and how do you "backfill them"

"Wait for backfill" in AA must be checked and you must be running Pro version.

Also there is very easy way to know if current quote is here or not.
Just set the FROM-TO range in AA to CURRENT day.
