Herman I dont know if we are talking about the same thing. I've been using two dual port video cards for over 3 years on XP. I dont know what the video cards are anymore. But what I know is this. Trading isnt exactly video intensive, unlike games. Its mainly numbers. So Asus 8500 GT seems like a good inexpensive option, just make sure that they dont have moving parts on the card, some cards use fan driven heat sinks which tend to be noisy and less reliable. Its better to spend money and time on screen real estate, buy nice screens and decide on a good screen layout that suits your trading style. I have a traditional layout with screens siting side by side, siting on a low stand on my desk at eye level, with space underneath to store keyboard, mouses and speakers etc. It has been working fine.

Now that AB support multiple monitors I think its time to buy a quad video card with four times 1680 x 1050 resolution. I have been using MaxiVista thus far. If you are running multiple monitors under Vista, would you be willing to share which video card you are using? The computer store suggested two Asus 8500GT PCI-E 16x DVI/VGA --- is this any good? I'll be running an Intel CO2 Quad Q6700 (whatever that means) with 4 GByte Ram. Any problem areas I should be aware of? Thanks for any advice you can give! herman
