Hi, I used to work with 15-minute bars but now I switched to 1-minute bars. The main problem I face now is speed. It can take 5 minutes to run a simple backtest with three months of data. I'm not even thinking about optimizing. I have a 1.5 GHz and 3.0 GHz RAM. Anyone has anything to suggest to make it work faster?
Thanks, Louis p.s. At 5 minutes for a simple backtest, I usually go on the internet and waste my time and most often than not I waste all my time even when the backtest is finished.
