Perhaps this was mentioned before - but I can't recall/retrieve the
answer. During RT-intraday mode, I have a 1min,2min,5min,15min and
daily chart on screen, all symbol linked (with only 1 symbol
displayed and updating). By display chart timing the total time (sum
for all charts and panes visible)= 0.4 sec (by eyeball, when I change
a symbol it takes about 3-4 sec for the new symbol to be displayed).
If I run an AAexplore over the entire db (100 symbols) in 5min
periodicity using an afl that is equivalent to the 5min chart + a
portion of the 15min chart, I get results in 2 seconds.

It seems AB had the results before I started the AA (otherwise why
wouldn't it take at least 0.4sec/symbol * 100 symbols). What I'd like
to know is if/what afl's does AB run in the background. Does it just
continue updating the last AA afl that was run - anticipating that it
will be run again (even though the run every box is unchecked). Is
there a way to control the frequency &/or symbols this AA is run (if
it is)?

Are the CHART afl's run on all sym in the db (or the last X symbols
displayed on these charts or the last X symbols reported in an AA run
or the last X symbols viewed in RTQ window) being run while I just
have 1 symbol displayed? Is there a way to control this? - ie, run
over fewer symbols?

Thanks for any consideration of this issue,
Dan
